Project Details

Lantower Westshore Apartments is an urban infill project consisting of 300 apartment units on 3 acres of prime real estate. The project is conveniently located across from International Mall and Tampa International Airport. The six-story apartment structure wraps around a structured garage for convenient access from the unit to the parking area. The building structure also provides two internal courtyards, containing a pool, fireplace, and seating areas.

The Westshore Overlay District’s location falls within FAA regulated airspace, which created unique entitlement challenges for the project team. Storm water obstacles in this highly urban area were overcome using a sand bottom vault beneath the structured parking garage along with innovative perimeter rain gardens. This design achieved the regulatory requirements while providing rock and landscape enhancement areas around the site.
